My first novel in almost a decade!
Yesterday, I finished reading the first work of fiction in a very long time. It was a book by Clive Cussler titled “White Death”. This particular author came very highly recommended by a good friend, and, not knowing which one would make a good introduction (and having to make a choice on the spot, at Narnia Bookshop in Tamworth), I chose “White Death”, only to find out later that my friend didn’t regard this particular story too highly. Oh well, what can you do?
My ten most favourite composers
I’ve often thought about this particular question, and usually give up because it’s not a very easy one to answer! Well, lately I’ve given it some more thought, and if I don’t at least get it written down, then I’ll have no way of seeing how my interests change over time.
My new kitty, named Peanut

Enterprise has been cancelled. Thank god!
How to use VNC with SSH encrypted tunnelling
Since figuring out how to connect to my home machine using plain, old, VNC over a separate Secure SHell (SSH) tunnel, a few people have asked me to document the procedure so that they may easily implement it themselves. I, myself, have been known to forget some of the steps involved, so this is for my benefit as much as theirs.
New year’s resolutions for 2005
My brother has seen fit to publish his new year’s resolutions, so I may as well do the same. Here goes:
Guess what I just saw at Coles: Easter Eggs!
You might think that I’m just wishful thinking, because I do like my Easter Eggs, but seeing them on the shelves on the 30th of December is probably a tad early, don’t you think?
